Appearance

The Lunate Fairy Wrasse is a small, vibrant wrasse with a crescent-shaped tail fin (hence "lunatus"). Males display brilliant pink, orange, and yellow coloration with distinctive bar patterns, while females are typically more subdued orange-brown; the body is laterally compressed and elongate.
