Appearance
The Lined Dartfish displays a slender, elongated body with distinctive blue to purple vertical stripes running along a yellowish or tan base color. The fish features enlarged pelvic fins used for anchoring near burrow entrances, and reaches approximately 4.5 inches in length.
Diet and feeding
Feed small zooplankton-based foods such as live copepods, brine shrimp, or quality frozen mysis shrimp and plankton blends. Multiple small feedings daily are recommended to match natural grazing behavior.
