Appearance

Small, slender wrasse with vibrant yellow-green to greenish body heavily marked with black spots and blotches. Males display more intense coloration and breeding males develop darker, more prominent patterns; females are duller. Elongated snout and small mouth adapted for picking small prey from substrate and rock crevices.
