Appearance
A small, elongated wrasse with vibrant orange-red coloration on the head and anterior body, transitioning to greenish-yellow posteriorly. Males exhibit distinctive leopard-like spots on the body; females are more uniformly colored. The body is streamlined with a pointed snout.
Diet and feeding
Feeds on small crustaceans, copepods, and mysis shrimp in the wild. In captivity, offer high-quality frozen or live small crustaceans such as mysis shrimp, pod-enriched foods, and finely chopped seafood. Feed 2-3 times daily in small portions.
