Appearance

A small, intricately patterned dragonet with distinctive large eyes and a flattened body. Body coloration ranges from orange-red to yellow with dark reticulated patterns; the head is typically darker with bright coloration around the large orbital eyes.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live or frozen foods including copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and small frozen foods. A well-established copepod population in the display tank is highly beneficial. Feed small portions 2–3 times daily.
