Appearance
The Grey-Head Wrasse is a small labrid with a distinctive pale grey to whitish head that contrasts with a green to yellow-green body. The fish displays typical wrasse body proportions with a tapered, streamlined form and pointed snout. Males may show more vibrant coloration than females, with subtle patterns along the body that can intensify during feeding or social displays.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, offer a varied diet of frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and finely minced marine flesh. This species benefits from regular small feedings and will actively forage in the sand and rockwork for small invertebrates and copepods.
