Appearance
Elongated, slender body measuring up to 25 cm. Distinctive golden yellow coloration with black spots along flanks and a black band through eyes. Prominent dorsal and anal fins are yellow edged in black.

Marine algae, copepods, small crustaceans, mysis shrimp, fish eggs in the wild. In aquariums: marine algae, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, commercial fish food for omnivores.
