Appearance

A diminutive goby (to 1.6 inches) with a translucent to pale body and distinctive gold-yellow neon coloring on the head and front body regions. The body is slightly compressed laterally with a tapered tail.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live foods (copepods, amphipods, rotifers) or high-quality frozen zooplankton multiple times daily. This species is a micropredator and will not consume standard pellet foods readily.
