Appearance

The Four Line Wrasse displays four distinct horizontal stripes—typically orange-red and blue or white alternating patterns—running the length of its elongated, streamlined body. It has a small mouth characteristic of wrasses and attains a compact, fusiform shape.

Diet and feeding

In captivity, feed a varied diet of high-quality small pellets, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped frozen foods 2-3 times daily. They will also graze on small crustaceans and amphipods naturally present in the aquarium, making them beneficial scavengers.
