Appearance
A slender wrasse with four distinct dark blue-black horizontal stripes running the length of its body against an orange-yellow background. The fish has a pointed snout and vibrant coloration that makes it one of the most striking wrasses in the hobby.
Diet and feeding
In the wild, this species is a cleaner fish that feeds on parasites and dead skin from larger fish. In captivity, feed small meaty foods including copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped marine flesh 2-3 times daily.
