Appearance

A slender, elongated goby with a striking red and white coloration pattern. The anterior body is bright red-orange, transitioning to white or cream posteriorly, with a characteristic large, venomous dorsal fin that is held upright and banded in red and white.

Diet and feeding

Feeds on small crustaceans and zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, offer frequent small meals of quality frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and small prepared carnivore foods.
