Appearance

The Dusky Wrasse displays dusky brown to olive coloration on the dorsal surface, with a pale belly and distinctive dark bands or blotches along the sides. Males may show more intense coloration and fin development than females, with a moderately elongated body typical of wrasses.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied carnivorous diet of high-quality frozen meaty foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small pieces of fish or marine flesh. Supplement with quality flake or pellet formulations designed for small carnivorous fish.
