Appearance

Silvery body with distinctive blue horizontal stripes running the length of the side. Yellow dorsal and anal fins with blue accents; grows to approximately 11 inches and displays a streamlined, slightly compressed body typical of snappers.

Diet and feeding

Small fish, crustaceans, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, krill, and other meaty foods. Will eat small fish and invertebrates.
