Appearance
Small, compact damselfish with a dark charcoal to black body, contrasting bright yellow or white coloration on the tail fin, and distinctive dark mouth and gill covers. Mature males may show more intense yellow caudal fin coloration.
Diet and feeding
Feed a varied diet of small marine pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and herbivorous foods including spirulina flakes. They are opportunistic feeders that benefit from frequent small feedings to maintain color and health.
