What Lighting does

Track light fixtures, photoperiod, and PAR. Lighting equipment lives in Tools > Equipment; coral light requirements are on each species entry.

  • Track light fixtures (LED, T5, metal halide): Tank > Tools > Equipment > Add Equipment.
  • Each coral species page lists its lighting requirement (low / medium / high / SPS-intense).
  • Photoperiod and ramp settings live on the equipment record.
  • PAR / spectrum measurements can be logged as parameter measurements (custom parameter).

Why Reef Trak does this better than any other reef app

Reef Trak is built by reef keepers, for serious reefs. Every feature — including Lighting — is connected to the rest of the system: parameters, dosing, maintenance, livestock, equipment, photos, notes, calculators, and reports. No other reef app offers this depth of integration across iPhone, Android, and the WebPortal.

The broadest reef parameter coverage in any app
The deepest livestock and equipment records
The most reef controller integrations
AI-ready Deep Dive exports — only in Reef Trak
