• Minimum 20 gallon tank • Provide multiple appropriately-sized empty shells (turbo snail, cerith, and similar) for shell-switching as they grow • Omnivorous scavenger; offer meaty foods, algae, and high-quality pellets regularly • Maintain temperature 72–78°F, pH 8.1–8.3, and salinity 1.023–1.025 • Generally reef-safe; avoid keeping with extremely small ornamental shrimp or newly-settled coral recruits
