Diet and feeding

Omnivorous scavenger that feeds on detritus, biofilm, and small food particles. Will accept quality shrimp pellets, dried seaweed, and frozen foods like mysis shrimp.

Indo-Pacific region from South Africa to the Red Sea and eastward to the Indo-Australian archipelago.
