Origin and habitat
Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea to Hawaii, found in coral reefs and rocky substrates.

• Minimum 20 gallon tank • Requires stable reef conditions with strong but not direct water flow to maintain crown extension • Temperature range 72–78°F; sensitive to temperature fluctuations • Feed small planktonic foods (phytoplankton, zooplankton, rotifers) via target feeding • Place in established aquarium with established rock; do not attempt to remove from its tube
