Diet and feeding

Filter-feeder that consumes plankton and microscopic organisms from the water column. Requires strong indirect water flow and regular feeding with liquid phytoplankton or similar planktonic supplements in established reef aquariums.

Origin and habitat

Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea to Hawaii, found in coral reefs and rocky substrates.
