Diet and feeding

Omnivorous scavengers that feed on detritus, small crustaceans, and leftover food. Supplement with sinking pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and meaty foods 2–3 times weekly.

Origin and habitat

Western Atlantic, from Florida and the Bahamas south to Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea.
