Bright yellow body with a small crest on the head; characteristic black eye-stripe. Extremely small, slender-bodied goby with a distinctive yellow coloration and small size.

Diet and feeding

Feeds primarily on small crustaceans and zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, offer high-quality frozen copepods, enriched brine shrimp, and small meaty foods 2–3 times daily; may accept finely chopped seafood.
