Appearance

Congrogadus subducens is an elongated eel with a mottled brown and tan coloration and a slightly compressed body. It features a small mouth and blunt snout, with the dorsal fin running the length of its body.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live or frozen prey including small fish, crustaceans, and marine worms. Offer food 2–3 times per week, as this species can be a slow feeder and may not compete well with aggressive tankmates during feeding.
