Appearance

Small chromis with a predominantly blue-green body and distinctive dark vertical bands or stripes. The fins are transparent to blue-tinted, and the body has a compressed, streamlined shape typical of planktivorous chromis.

Diet and feeding

In captivity, feed small meaty foods such as copepods, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped marine flesh. High-quality flake and pellet foods designed for planktivores are beneficial. Feed multiple small portions daily to mimic natural grazing behavior.
