Appearance
Small chromis with a dark blue to black body and distinctive black axillary spot (behind the gill). Streamlined body shape typical of planktivorous damselfish.
Diet and feeding
Feed high-quality frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, and small prepared foods 2–3 times daily. Supplement with occasional flake or pellet food formulated for planktivores. They naturally feed on zooplankton in the reef environment.

Moderate - Requires some experience due to specific dietary water or tank requirements. Best suited for intermediate aquarists.
