Appearance
A small, elongated goby with a tan to light brown body marked by two distinctive dark spots or ocelli (eye-like markings) on the dorsal fin, which give the species its common name. The head and anterior body are mottled with subtle markings.

Small crustaceans, copepods, amphipods, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and other small meaty foods.
