Appearance

A slender goby with elongated body and pointed snout, displaying pale tan to yellowish coloration with distinctive thin dark stripes or bands running along the body. The dorsal and anal fins are notably elongated, giving the species its characteristic appearance.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live or frozen foods including mysis shrimp, copepods, amphipods, and small frozen preparations. This goby is a benthic forager and prefers frequent small feedings of appropriately-sized prey items.
