Appearance

A small goby with a pale yellow to tan body marked by distinctive green bands running horizontally across the head and front portion. It has a stout build and spends much of its time near the substrate and rockwork.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality marine flake foods. Supplement with occasional copepods and amphipods. The species is a benthic feeder that picks food from the sand and rocks.
