Appearance

Small goby with a tan to light brown body and darker mottled patterns. Reaches approximately 5 inches. Named "Shy" for its cryptic, bottom-dwelling behavior and tendency to remain hidden among rocks and coral rubble.

Diet and feeding

Feed small frozen or live foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and enriched brine shrimp. Sponge-eating behavior in the wild, so occasional supplementation with quality sponge-based foods may help. Small portion 1–2 times daily.
