Appearance

Oval-bodied fish, approximately 10 cm in length. Pale pink to light brown, often with scattered darker spots and a conspicuous yellow patch at the base of the pectoral fin. Distinctive black ocellus (eye-like marking) on the side of the body near the dorsal fin.
