Appearance
Elongated, slender body (up to 120 cm long). Dorsal side is greenish-blue, ventral side is white. Distinctive black blotches along entire length and a broad black stripe running from eye to tail base.

Zooplankton, small crustaceans (such as mysis shrimp), and fish eggs in both wild and aquarium environments.
