Appearance

A diminutive goby reaching approximately 1.2 inches, characterized by a translucent body with striking red or orange neon-like vertical stripes running the length of the body. The belly is notably dark or blackish, distinguishing it from related Eviota species.

Diet and feeding

Feeds on small copepods, amphipods, and other zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, offer frequent small portions of quality foods like mysis shrimp, copepod-rich preparations, and occasionally high-quality flake or micro-pellet foods. Feed 2-3 times daily in small amounts.
