Diet and feeding
Feeds on small copepods, amphipods, and other zooplankton in the wild. In captivity, offer frequent small portions of quality foods like mysis shrimp, copepod-rich preparations, and occasionally high-quality flake or micro-pellet foods. Feed 2-3 times daily in small amounts.
