Appearance

Randall's Goby is a small, elongated fish with a pale tan to yellowish body covered in blue spots and bars. It has a characteristic flattened head and large pectoral fins used for sifting sand.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live or frozen foods such as copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and frozen brine shrimp. This species spends most of its time sifting sand and will also consume small crustaceans and plankton found in the substrate.
