Appearance

A small, elongated dart goby with a distinctive purple-violet coloration on the head and anterior body, transitioning to yellow-orange on the posterior and tail. A characteristic dark stripe runs along the lateral line. The first dorsal fin is notably elongated and sail-like.

Marine copepods, rotifers, small marine invertebrates, and marine algae (Caulerpa spp., Chaetomorpha spp.)
