Appearance
The Pink-Spotted Watchman Goby is a small, robust goby with a tan to beige body and distinctive pink or reddish spots and blotches covering its head and body. It has a slightly flattened body profile, large anterior eyes, and a characteristic pointed snout. The first dorsal fin is tall and sail-like, and the pectoral fins are enlarged, which it uses for balance and movement across the substrate.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, copepods, amphipods, and small crustaceans. Accepts most prepared carnivore pellets formulated for small reef fish. Feed 1–2 times daily in amounts that will be consumed within a few minutes.
