Appearance

The head displays prominent blue-edged markings and the dorsal fin is banded with yellow and white. The body shape is typical of prawn gobies, with a somewhat flattened anterior region adapted for burrowing.
Diet and feeding
Feed small crustaceans including live or frozen copepods, amphipods, and mysis shrimp. High-quality micro pellets can supplement but should not be the primary diet. Feed 2–3 times daily in small portions.
