Appearance

A small tan to brownish goby with distinctive orange or red markings and reticulated (net-like) patterns across the body. The body is stocky with a blunt head and small mouth typical of bottom-dwelling gobies.

Diet and feeding

In captivity, feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, frozen copepods, and finely chopped preparations. Supplement with small live foods such as live copepods or amphipods if available, as this species grazes on small benthic organisms in nature.
