Appearance

A small, slender goby with a pale-tan to cream body featuring distinctive orange or reddish-orange horizontal stripes running along the head and anterior body. The caudal fin is rounded, and the body shape is typical of prawn gobies with a slightly flattened underside.

Diet and feeding

Feed small frozen foods including mysis shrimp, copepods, and finely chopped seafood. In established reef aquaria, they forage on natural micro-fauna. Offer multiple small feedings or allow grazing on live rock and substrate.
