Appearance
A small, strikingly colored goby with a brilliant blue body and bright orange-red vertical stripes running the length of its body. The head and face are predominantly blue with orange markings. The dorsal and anal fins display the same vibrant blue-and-orange banding pattern, making this species one of the most colorful gobies in the aquarium trade.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty foods including finely chopped frozen krill, mysis shrimp, bloodworms, and quality micro pellets designed for small fish. Offer food 2-3 times daily in small portions, as Old Glory Gobies are bottom feeders with small mouths.
Difficulty and care for the Old Glory Goby
Old Glory Gobies are moderately difficult, requiring stable water conditions and consistent small meaty feeding. They are peaceful but skittish and benefit from plenty of hiding places, rockwork, and a well-established reef tank.
