Appearance

Yellowish to tan body with blue-tinted facial markings and characteristic long, horn-like bony projections extending anteriorly above the eyes. The body is boxy and heavily armored with bony plates.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet including small crustaceans, mysis shrimp, copepods, and finely chopped seafood. Supplement with quality omnivore pellets. Feed once to twice daily in small portions.
