Appearance

Yellow body with white-edged blue spots and distinctive horn-like projections above the eyes and at the rear of the body. The boxy, rigid frame and defensive spines make it instantly recognizable.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet including small crustaceans (mysis shrimp, copepods), small mollusks, and quality flaked foods. Offer food 2-3 times daily in small portions. Avoid overfeeding to maintain water quality.
