Appearance

Yellow to golden-orange body with a dark spot on the gill cover; tall, sail-like dorsal fin with concentric blue rings and lines. Caudal fin is crescent-shaped with similar blue markings.

Diet and feeding

Primary herbivore requiring copious amounts of marine algae and seaweed. Offer dried nori, spirulina, and macroalgae daily. Supplement with occasional meaty foods like mysis shrimp to round out nutrition.
