Appearance

The hybrid combines the bright yellow body of Zebrasoma flavescens with purple coloration typically from Z. xanthurum, resulting in variable appearance with yellow predominating on the body and purple accents on the fins and face. Body is disc-shaped and laterally compressed, typical of Zebrasoma tangs.
