Appearance

The Highfin Blenny is a small, elongated fish with a pronounced dorsal fin that extends high along its back. Coloration is typically brown to tan with dark blotches and bands, and the body may display subtle vertical striping. The fish has a somewhat flattened head and small eyes characteristic of benthic blenny species.

Diet and feeding

Feed a varied diet of high-quality small pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and small frozen foods suitable for blennies. Offer food 2–3 times daily in small portions, as they are active grazers and foragers. They will also graze on algae and biofilm in the aquarium.
