Appearance

A small, deep-water tang with a vibrant yellow body and distinctive blue/purple striping on the face and gill plates. The body is laterally compressed with a small, deep-dwelling profile typical of abyssal tangs.

Diet and feeding

Feed high-quality frozen foods including mysid shrimp, spirulina-enriched flakes, and occasional dried seaweed. Small, frequent feedings are essential due to its deep-water origin and small mouth. Offer food 2–3 times daily in small portions.
