Appearance

Small blenny with a tan to brownish body and distinctive dark bars or markings. Characterized by prominent eyebrow-like crests or tentacles above the eyes, which give the species its common name.

Diet and feeding

Feeds on small crustaceans, copepods, amphipods, and algae in the wild. In captivity, offer a varied diet of frozen mysis shrimp, small frozen foods, and quality flake or pellet foods supplemented with vegetable matter.
