Appearance

The Dragon Sea Moth has a flattened, disc-like body with extensive wing-like pectoral fins edged in dark patterns. The coloration is tan to brown with intricate reticulated markings and a distinctive dragonlike snout used for feeding on small benthic organisms.

Diet and feeding

Feed small live or frozen copepods, amphipods, and other tiny benthic crustaceans. Accepts enriched frozen foods but strongly prefers live prey. May require multiple feedings daily to meet nutritional demands.
