Appearance
The Crocodile Pipefish has a slender, elongated body with a prehensile tail and a small tubular snout. It displays mottled brown and tan coloration with irregular patterns, resembling aquatic vegetation and seagrass.
Diet and feeding
Feed small live or frozen foods including copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and other small crustaceans. Multiple small feedings daily are necessary as they have small mouths and eat constantly in the wild.
