Appearance

A slender, elongated pipefish with a tubular snout and segmented body encased in bony rings. Coloration ranges from pale yellow-green to brown with darker mottling, allowing camouflage in seagrass beds.

Feed small live or frozen foods such as copepods, amphipods, mysis shrimp, and other small crustaceans. Multiple small feedings daily are essential since pipefish have small mouths and high metabolic rates.
