Appearance
The Citron Goby is a very small, slender fish with a predominantly yellow body and darker markings, particularly on the head and fins. It has a pointed snout and a somewhat elongated body typical of the Gobiosoma genus. A distinctive dark stripe or blotch runs through the eye region, contrasting with its bright citrine coloration.
Diet and feeding
Feed small, frequent meals of high-quality foods such as mysis shrimp, copepods, and other small crustaceans. Citron Gobies benefit from live or frozen micro-fauna and will also accept finely prepared flaked foods designed for small fish.
