Appearance
A small, elongated blenny with a distinctive blue stripe running along each side of the body. The fish has an overall tan or reddish-brown coloration with a slightly pointed snout and prominent fangs (enlarged canine teeth), which it uses to nip at tankmates and food sources.
Diet and feeding
Feed small meaty items such as copepods, amphipods, small crustaceans, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped marine flesh. This species benefits from frequent feeding of live or frozen foods that encourage natural hunting behavior.
