Appearance

Brown to tan body with darker brown mottling or banding; elongated blenny form with a pointed snout. Distinctive large, fang-like teeth protrude from the lower jaw, giving it the "sabretooth" common name.

Diet and feeding

Feed small meaty foods including frozen mysis shrimp, frozen bloodworms, and small crustaceans. Can be trained to accept high-quality pellets. Feed 1-2 times daily in appropriate portions.
